Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Zvonko is a software service operated by Filip Stanojević, a sole proprietor registered in Austria ("we", "us"). Zvonko helps small businesses respond to new customer inquiries received through messaging channels such as WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, and email.

2. What Zvonko does

Zvonko acts as a service provider (data processor) for business customers ("Clients") who connect their business messaging accounts to our platform. When a person contacts a Client's business, Zvonko may process that conversation to generate a reply on the Client's behalf, such as answering product questions and providing rough price estimates.

3. Data we process

• Conversation data: the content of messages sent to and from a Client's connected business accounts, including sender name, profile information, and phone number or handle as provided by the messaging platform.
• Client account data: business name, contact details, product and pricing information the Client provides to configure the service, and access tokens for connected messaging accounts.
• Technical data: logs necessary to operate, secure, and debug the service.

4. How we use data

• To receive, process, and respond to messages on behalf of Clients.
• To notify Clients of qualified inquiries and hand conversations over to them.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the reliability of the service.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use conversation data for advertising.

5. Third-party services

To provide the service, data is processed by the following categories of providers under their own terms: messaging platforms (e.g. Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform, Messenger, and Instagram APIs), cloud hosting providers, and AI language-model providers used to generate replies. We share only the data required for the service to function.

6. Data retention

Conversation data is retained for as long as needed to provide the service to the relevant Client, or until the Client or the data subject requests deletion. Technical logs are retained for a limited period for security and debugging purposes.

7. Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). If you contacted a business that uses Zvonko, you may also direct your request to that business, which is the data controller for your conversation.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data, including encrypted transport and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data using industry-standard practices.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service develops. The current version will always be available at this address, with the effective date shown above.
